Updated or edited posts moving to top

  I may be in the wrong forum, but I was wondering if there was a widget available that would move an edited or updated post to the front of the postings. I update some of my posts frequently and this would be much easier than creating links…but if there isn’t I’ll just keep creating links!

  No, posts are in reverse chronological order by published date (newest published date at top). You could change the publish dates on the posts, but that is NOT a good thing to do. It will result in 404 errors from search engines and your search engine ranking will go down as a result.

  Updating posts frequently for more than a typo or to correct a link or something like that is not a good idea. The better way is to write a new post with the additional information and then in that post link back to the original post. The visitors can then click on the link to read the other part of the post.
