Updated php with 1&1 now can't access mydomain.com/blog

  Hi,

  I recently had to update the ‘PHP Version’ (I don’t even know what that means) with 1&1 to 7.0.

  Years ago I somehow managed to work out how to make my wordpress blog an extension of my website (mydomain.com/blog). Now I have updated to PHP 7.0 my blog link doesn’t work.

  Under ‘MySQL database’ in 1&1 there is a new PHP code for PHP 7. I have copied and pasted it, and it says to “paste the following code to your PHP script to set up the database connection.”

  Where do I paste the code? I have used Webplus X6 to make my website, is it in a WordPress file in there somewhere or is the problem that wordpress doesn’t work with php 7 (whatever that is!).

  Totally confused! Can’t remember a thing about what I did years ago to get my blog to be an extension of my website.

  PS it isn’t the Jennsdriving blog that I am now logged in with, I was not using this one at all but had to log back into it now in order to post this!
