Updated theme and now can’t access dashboard

Hi, we’ve updated the wordpress database and theme, now we can’t access the dashboard – it keeps redirecting to the ‘update was successful’ page…

Hi there, to confirm, is this happening on http://flowfonix.wordpress.com/? Only sites on the Business Plan can upload custom themes.

Can you let me know the site URL you’re talking about @flowfonix? Your current account does not have any upgrades and as @torres126 mentioned, only sites on our Business Plan have the ability to use third party themes. Most database plugins will still break the site though.
Do note that this support channel handles assistance to WordPress.com hosted sites and the guidance provided here won’t be relevant to WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider.
