updated website plugins for wordpress website BAD MISTAKE

  I need some help please people, im a repair geek working out of a computer repair shop, one of the other shop owners asked me to edit his website for him, change some numbers, pictures ect.

  I went to update the plugins and wordpress to latest version and now the home page is displaying:

  Request A Callback
  [onw_simple_contact_form onw_recaptcha=”off”]

  Testimonial
  [show_testimonials limit=”1″]

  Rather than the widgets and testimonials, it also deleted the entrys for services, i attempted to alter the PAGES>HOME and there is a grand total of one editable box and its empty…
  there doesnt seem to be any alterable functions through wordpress and your editors just show a spinning disk and dont work.

  If someone would be so kind as to explain what this rats nest of a gui is or better yet knows why doing updates that were stated 100% compatible manages to remove my home pages widgets I would be forever in your debt, personally i would just burn the site and start over from scratch, it would only take a hour or so to recreate the site but he doesnt want to lose his seo rankings.

  Also why does altering images not alter the image on the website? I tried to replace the image of tags on a line with a altered version, it accepted the change but the image being displayed is still the same and no i didnt forget to save and publish.
