Updated WordPress version

I started using the new version of WordPress and I don’t like it, and would like to return to the old version, is this possible. It is not so easy to use, as the link suggested, and I’m struggling to do some things that in the old version where simplicity. EG I have changed the title of a blog and want to change its accompanying link. I’ve hunted everywhere and can’t see how to do this.

I believe you are referring to a issue related to self-hosted WordPress site.
We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.
To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:

@asaphconner Are you definitely referring to some other site hosted elsewhere using the WordPress.org software (in which case my apologies and see the links provided by @kosiew) or are you referring to the WordPress.com site linked to this account? If you mean you want to use the original wp-admin dashboard rather than the newer My Sites/Calypso dashboard then you should see the link if you scroll down to the bottom on the left. If the link isn’t there then you just add /wp-admin to your site address and bookmark it in your browser.
