  My “update” button for updating posts has disappeared. Anyone have the same problem?

  try logging out of your account,
  and clearing your browsers cache and cookies:

  http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  log back in and then see if everything is in the right place.

  Tried to find out how to post you back to thank you. site wouldn’t let me in. tried another way and here it is… finally.
  Quite a pleasant surprise to get such a quick reply. All is as it should be again, though the cache and cookies confused me for several days, like reading a foreign language. Am sure all very simple to you computer-savvy guys. Anyway, thanks very much again for yr assistance. was indeed a great help.
