Updates failing

  I am trying to update WP to 5.9.3. I keep getting a failure notice. Could not copy the file. I have tried many times and each time I get a different file error. Here are the 3 I have received so far. I have also tried with ALL plugins deactivated

  Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-includes/js/dist/compose.js
  Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-includes/js/dist/data.js
  Could not copy file.: wordpress/wp-includes/js/dist/editor.js

  Search is not giving me an answer. The site is working fine but wordfence is sending multiple notices a day for 2 different websites. 1 is a newer site. I have tried to update the Parabloa theme but it seems it is up-to-date.
