Updates not saving in new block editor

Last night I started writing a new post, and decided to use the block editor for the first time. Everything was going fine until about halfway through, then this error started appearing as a red notification at the top of the page:
Updating failed. Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.
It kept happening, so I figured maybe it’ll work better the next day. So this morning I opened the draft and this error kept happening. Then I tried switching to the Classic Editor; finished the post, no trouble saving the draft, planning to Publish it tonight.
It appears there was a bug happening where the block editor wouldn’t save updates anymore. I’m thinking of creating a new post as an experiment to see if it happens again.

Please try clearing your browser cache. Let us know if you still get that error when trying to publish/save after doing that.

Don’t want to just leave this issue hanging, so here’s a follow-up…
I’ve tried a couple times to repro the issue (ie. I created a new post as an experiment) and have not had that error again. I guess I’ll just keep in mind clearing the browser cache if I ever get this again.
fwiw that particular post from my initial message was having issues when I attempted to open it in the WordPress dashboard, so perhaps that was related. Specifically, everything past the “show more” divider wasn’t loading and had an “Attempt recovery?” message. That message box includes the option to change the block to Classic, so I did that and now the entire post is showing.
