Updates not showing on free wordpress

Hi, could someone please help me clear the WordPress cache on the free option without a plan? My updates such as deleting a page, and adding featured images to new pages don’t show on my live blog, even though the changes are published in the editor.

Hi there, this sounds like a browser issue. Have you tried logging out of WordPressdotcom, clearing your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other website you may be logged in with) and then shutting down your browser?
If that doesn’t work for you, please try the other suggestions mentioned on this page https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ and if those don’t work, please return to this forum thread and let us know what browser and OS you are using.

Thanks! Unfortunately none of that worked. I’m using Chrome and Mac with High Sierra. The problem doesn’t seem to be on the browser end but rather on the wordpress side or wordpress cache to the point where even in the preview of my blog there is a page that I have deleted but still shows in preview. However when I check the site pages in the site builder, the page does not exist there for me to try delete it again. Furthermore the featured images on pages don’t seem to publish, as if wordpress is not refreshing the changes.
I see that some people have said that a cache plugin will help, but one can only install plugins on a paid plan, and I want to be sure I am happy with WordPress before I pay for a plan…

Just to be clear, images are working on my posts, not working on my pages.
This “about” page should show an image on the top https://rereckon.wordpress.com/about/As should the “connect” page. These are both set as featured images in the editor.
Then, the “conversations” page has been deleted in editor but still shows on the live site.Thanks

Firstly, the Conversations page is deleted, but the menu item is still there and needs to be removed. Follow step # 4 in this article, https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/.
I had a look at the Revelar theme and it looks like it doesn’t support featured images on pages, only on blog posts. I created a test page with a featured image on my website with your theme and it also doesn’t show, https://epoolman.wordpress.com/test-page/.

What you can do is add an image into the post just above your text on a page. That one will show the image like on the blog posts like this, https://epoolman.wordpress.com/test-page-2/
