  I cannot seem to opt out of comment updates from this site. I don’t even follow the original blog anymore but I receive numerous annoying email updates about comments posted on the blog. Can anyone help me to turn off the comment updates?

  This is copied from the email I receive on a regular basis (four of them just today). Thank you for any information you may be able to provide regarding terminating these notifications. I no longer follow the blog but cannot seem to avoid notifications for comments.

  When you get those emails, is there an unsubscribe link at the bottom of them? And if there is, could you copy that link and open it in an incognito browser window? That way this account won’t interfere if you had followed with a different account.

  From there you should be able to unsubscribe.
