I did the edit and then when I do update it deletes everything. Have tried a few times. Thanks

If and only if the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be. The auto-save works there and the post will be Standard post format unless you change it.Do not create posts here > http://wordpress.com/#!/post/ where the auto-save is not working and where you are creating an Aside post format.

Now can not even save a new article. I did…add new….pasted from the trash the article i was trying to edit and then did safe as draft and it deleted it all…..
Then i did another new one and only did publish and it published but nothing was there but the title.

The autosave does not work.Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
The auto-save works there. -
Thats the only way I do it.
Not sure whats going on but I have to edit ALL articles as some of the images are not free to use.
