Updating a blog…

I blog about gardens. I’d like to provide a photo that is taken a few weeks later to show the growth. Say I’m writing about planting a bed of lettuce. The old blog has the photo of the small lettuce plants. Now three weeks later the lettuce plants are looking real good, should I put that in the old blog and update it? Or put it in a new blog with a title referring to the old blog.
I’m new at this so thanks for your patience.

Put it in a new post and LINK to the old one. Also edit the old one and link to the new one, like “SEE HOW THIS TURNED OUT THREE WEEKS LATER”.
