Updating a theme from Envato to WordPress

Hi,
I bought a theme from Envato/Themeforest last year and I have been trying to update the theme through the Envato Market plugin. The steps I have taken are:
-Going to the Envato market plugin in WordPress
-Creating a token and pasting it into the plugin
-Going into Themes & updating the theme
But then I get an error message on my site saying: ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties.’
And when I try to log in it says ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’
I am doing this through my staging site so that I don’t mess up the live site.
Does anyone have any tips/ideas on why this is happening and how I could fix it? Is there any easy way to update my theme? -

Hi, I have had to go into GoDaddy and pull the live version to staging in order to get rid of the error message. But I still get the same error message every time i try to update my theme. Here is the link to my website https://www.berkeleysquareit.com/
