Updating Administration Email Address

    We are trying to update the administration email address to a new address. But we are not receiving a confirmation email.

    Below is what it states….
    ‘This address is used for admin purposes. If you change this, we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.

    There is a pending change of the admin email to (email visible only to moderators and staff).’

    Hey there!

    Have you not received the confirmation email yet? Have you checked your spam folder? Also, is the new email address working when you just send it an email from a regular account?

    Hi!
    Still have not received a confirmation email in Inbox or Spam. :( It is a functional email as it’s our admin email for the company.

    For some reason it’s not sending the email to allow us to change it from a old email to a new one.

    It sounds like you’re trying to change the admin address on a self-hosted site, rather than the address on the WordPress.com account. Can you confirm that?

    If that’s the case, we won’t be able to help you here, you’ll want to post to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
