Updating Author Bio

  Hi there, I am able to update our author bios here: https://energyathaas.wordpress.com/contributors/

  but not on their individual author page, for example here: https://energyathaas.wordpress.com/author/lucaswdavis/

  How does one do that? And can I do it for them?

  Hi there,

  You are able to edit the first link because it is a page on your site, and you as admin on energyathaas.wordpress.com are able to edit any text that is added to that page, since it is typed directly into the editor itself.

  For the author page however, that info is pulled from their account settings here: https://wordpress.com/me

  You will not see anything at that link as you have not added “About Me” info to your account. But when Lucas is logged into his account, when he goes to that link he sees the text you are referring to.

  You do not have permissions to edit that unfortunately, so you will want to reach out to your authors to be sure that they edit their About Me to match the one you are displaying publicly at energyathaas.wordpress.com/contributors/
