Updating blog domain
-
My blog was at affordablebankruptcycourses.wordpress.com. I set up a new domain and had CNAME record done for blog.affordablebankruptcycourses.com and tried to map it. Under upgrades it now says “DNS needs to be updated” and I get a 404 error when I try to access blog. All blog content should just live on blog.affordablebankruptcycourses.com.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can map a subdomain to your WordPress.com site by following these instructions:
At present, I don’t see the required CNAME record:
http://who.is/dns/affordablebankruptcycourses.com
If you are still having a problem once you add it back, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.

Thanks for your help. Those were the instructions I used. I sent a request to IT to set up CNAME and once that was done, I went into domains to map a domain I already own to use blog.affordablebankruptcycourses.com (set to primary) instead of affordablebankruptcycourses.wordpress.com. Our website domain is https://www.affordablebankruptcycourses.com/. But I am still getting a 404 error when I go to blog. Not sure what I’m missing?

At present, the required CNAME record is not there:
http://who.is/dns/affordablebankruptcycourses.com
Please add it back, and if you’re still having a problem after 24-48 hours, let us know, and we will troubleshoot the issue until it is resolved.
