Updating credit card for domian mapping renewal

  I am trying to update my credit card info for my domain mapping but am failing. How do I do it?

  Hi,

  To renew your domain mapping service, you’ll have to enable auto renewal, first.

  Once auto renewal is enabled (or if your auto renewal is already enabled), you can also find the option to change your credit card details in the My Upgrades menu.

  If you had followed the procedure to update your credit card details (and if WordPress still showed an error), could you please elaborate on the same, so that I can help you better?

  Thank you. I still have a problem. The email from wordpress tells me my renewal is $13.00 and my credit card needs updating. When going into upgrades there is no $13 option and no option to update the credit card. Surely there is a way of going into payment details and updating the credit card. But I can’t find it.

  Hello there,

  The reason why you are unable to update your credit card could be because your auto-renewal is disabled. Could you try enabling your auto-renewal?

  You can do this by visiting your My Upgrades menu at:
  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

  There, you’ll find a button – “Enable Auto Renew”, which will effectively enable auto renewal of your domain mapping service. Here’s a link to the screenshot of this page:

  Now, after auto-renewal is enabled, go back to the My Upgrades page

  There, you’ll now see a new option: ‘Update Credit Card’. Click this link to update your details and to renew your domain mapping service.

  Hi Hari

  On the my upgrades page there is no ‘enable auto-renewal’ button. It tells me I don’t have any upgrades yet. If I click on’domains’ it takes me to https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/turneyandburbage.org.uk where turneyandburbage.org.uk is listed as a ‘mapped domain’ ‘primary domain’ with turneyandburbage.wordpress.com ‘included with site’. When I click on turneyandburbage.org.uk it goes to https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/turneyandburbage.org.uk/edit/turneyandburbage.org.uk and says ‘mapping renews on october 17 2015 and gives a ‘payment settings’ button. I click this and it takes me to ‘my upgrades’ and tells me ‘you don’t have any upgrades yet’. When I click on ‘try one of our plans’ it goes to https://wordpress.com/plans/turneyandburbage.org.uk and offers me free for life ‘your current plan’ and premium at $99 and business at $299.

  This is a complete unsuccessful circle. So what do I do now?
