Updating Current WordPress Site

  Hello! I am trying to update my current site ‘Savvy Custom Tees and Apparel’ and have downloaded a new theme. I created a test free site with this theme of how I wanted the homepage layout to look. However, on my actual site when I activated this theme my home page looks the same.
