Updating custom plugins on the business plan

  I have a question about custom plugins when using the business plan. WordPress.com being a hosted platform is always running the most up-to-date version of WordPress. However not all plugins will be compatible with new version of WordPress, correct? What happens if one of my plugins breaks? Another related question, do my plugins update themselves or do I have to update them manually?

  Hello – WordPress itself and plugins auto-update on WordPress.com. If you choose a plugin that doesn’t support the newest version of WordPress it might cause issues. In that scenario I’d suggest finding a compatible alternative. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
