updating dns

  Hi I bought cheryl-legion.com and it won’t load and i’ve mapped my old domain to that new one but the DNS needs updating and I don’t know how to do that

  Hi!

  It looks like there was an issue with the domain registration. Can you try registering cheryl-legion.com again through the steps outlined here?

  Register a New Domain

  You shouldn’t be asked to pay anything else.

  Yeah that appears to have worked however it now says my domain expires in 2 weeks after my free trial and not in a year when i’ve already been charged $12 for the domain

  Your domain should expire on 2/23/16. I’m seeing that date under the domain listed here:

  I’m seeing renews on 8/03/2015 because i’m on the free premium trial and when i go to cancel that it suggests i need to pay $18 to keep the domain when I paid $12 for it tonight?

  I apologize – you’re correct. The issue here is that the domain was connected to the Premium bundle trial. In that case, when you cancel the trial, the domain follows along. Did you not want to keep the Premium bundle? If not, I can remove it for you. Alternatively, if you would like to renew the bundle, I can send over a manual payment request that will allow you to pay for the bundle with a discount for what you’ve already paid for the domain.

  I am wanting to cancel the free trial on the 13th day ofcourse but keep the domain which I initially paid $12 for. At first the domain didn’t work like I explained so I tried to cancel it but then it said that I couldn’t cancel the domain because it wasn’t registered through wordpress however when you said to register it again it worked but now it looks like I haven’t paid for it. Is it possible the cancellation went through and if so will I be getting my $12 back? I have these details from a $12 recipt.

  I went ahead and separated the domain from your Premium bundle so you should be able to cancel the bundle without interfering with the domain. The payment for your domain did go through successfully so your domain will be good through 2/23/16 regardless of whether you renew the Premium bundle. You can cancel the Premium bundle here when you’re ready:
