Updating/editing website pages
-
I am trying to update/edit the website but every time I make changes and press the button ‘update’, my changes do not go live. How do I fix this?
-
Hi there,
What is the URL of the site you’re working on, and what exactly are you trying to update?
-
I’m just trying to update a few pages on the website. Things like wording, updating business hours, adding picture, pretty simple stuff.

Hi there,
The site sharkbiteceviches.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on GoDaddy Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/sharkbiteceviches.com+dns
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and GoDaddy also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.
Hope that points you in the right direction!

Okay, so how do I know where my website is hosted? Is it GoDaddy? I don’t know who my host is or honestly what that means.
-
Hi there,
That info is shown here in the public WHOIS info for your domain: https://gwhois.org/sharkbiteceviches.com+dns
Screenshot of what I see:
This verifies that your site is hosted at GoDaddy. You can reach them for help with your site here.
Hope this helps!
