Updating Email Address

    I am attempting to update my email address on WordPress. Unfortunately, I have entered an incorrect address and need to update to my actual email address. I keep attempting to update it, but the confirmation email does not arrive. Thanks in advance.

    Are you logged into the WordPress.com account which you created with wrong email address?

    Thank you for the response. I have looked over that page and when I try to contact support as it suggests, I am referred to this forum. No, the email that is incorrect is with my Bloom plugin.

    I am sorry, it is on my General Settings page that the email address is incorrect, not the Bloom plugin. Bloom is what I am trying to get connected with.

    When you log in to your WP Admin Dashboard here: avonrepblog.wordpress.com./wp-admin, do you get this prompt http://d.pr/i/hqOZ? If so, then you should be able to correct your address by clicking Send to another email address.

    You can also change your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

    Thank you for your reply! I have tried everything to get the “General Settings” incorrect email changed. The issue is after I enter the correct email that needs to changed, I do not receive the confirmation email. I have tried making corrections in other places and I receive the emails. So, not sure why I am unable to change it here. None of the above options work. Is there anyway that I could start over on the General Settings and reenter all of the information?

    No, it is still incorrect in the “General Settings”. It should be (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Are you going to https://wordpress.com/me/account to change the email? Usually there is notification under the email field that there is a pending email that has been sent your address. I checked and currently do not see one. Let me know if this is where you tried to update your email.
