Been getting this error message any time I try to publish, create a draft, edit an existing post . . . rendering my WordPress useless. Why is this happening?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Did you get inadvertently logged out while working on the post? or do you have two WordPress.com Accounts and logged into a different account on a different tab?
This even may be cache issue. Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache?
Let me know if any of that works.
Thanks,

Hi,
I do have another WP account — but I get the same error after clearing the cache, and even logging in through another browser.
Thanks,
Aiah -
Hi Aiah –
Can you sign in to the other account and post back here in the forum? Let’s make sure it’s really signing you in differently and not back in to the same account.

Hi,
This is my secondary account — signed in through that now.
I have also been unable to create a new blog in this account. I get the following error:
“An active access token must be used create a new Site for the User.”

Can you confirm what browser you use regularly and which other browser you tried in testing?
Also, have you recently installed anything that blocks cookies — possibly as a privacy measure? The cookie helps us the correct user is logged in and trying to edit.

Hi! Looks like the VPN was the problem — it’s disabled now and BOTH accounts are working properly. Thanks very much for the help!
