Updating old photo galleries

    Hello.
    When I’ve ran into old posts of mine I’ve seen the old version of the gallery. I have wanted to update them, trying to make them look better with the new options. However, when I click the pencil icon the photos that appear are completely different and I just leave it alone fearing it will make everything worse.
    Why can’t I update the look of my old galleries?
