Updating Oldsite

  Hi there,

  Would really welcome your help here.

  I am looking to update my site: ewenspencer.com but this site was made with flash and is hardcoded ( if thats the right wording ). And its not happy with being updated and having anything changed on it, apart from the photographs.

  I have found a new theme I want to buy ( http://themeforest.net/item/moon-wordpress-theme-for-photographers/full_screen_preview/9767305 ). I want to create a new website with this theme and when its ready move the domain name over to the new one.

  Would anyone be able to help me with that the best way to do this is. My web hosting company: Tagadab, have stated I need to upgrade my server and doing this I will have Plesk control panel. With this would I be able to create another site with this new theme and then bring it live once its ready with my domain name…?

  That site is not a hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it. We cannot help you as we do not provide support for any blogs that are not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
