updating only part of the data on the custom fields for all posts
-
Hi,
i have a custom field where i included an URL within my domain. However, i just changed to a new domain and i need to update the URL in the custom field for all posts in a quick way since i have too many.
In other words, i need to change where http://www.old-domain.com/wp-content/uploads/image.gif to http://www.new-domain.com/wp-content/uploads/image.gif. But since all the posts have a different value after the “wp-content/uploads” part i need to change only the first part. Im wondering how can i do this. I have access to phpmyadmin.
Thank you.

Hi destrones, these forums are for support with sites hosted at WordPress.com.
As it sounds like you have your own blog with your own hosting it would be better to ask your question on the WordPress.org support forums – http://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

Oh, im sorry about that. I hope some moderator can move my topic to the right forum. Thanks

No problem, though I have recently had to do something similar to this. Take a look at http://interconnectit.com/124/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/ as that is what I used and was able to replace a domain name from the old to the new one.
