Updating Page

  Hi Guys,

  I wonder if I can post new posts to a specific page rather than main page without editing the specific page? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  Short answer = No.

  Posts and pages are very different (there’s a thread in the FAQ on this), and the chronological blog layout with most recent first is only available in ONE place, your blog. Pages are static like websites and they sit entirely outside of the stats system and are not blogs, so Technorati doesn’t count them, nor does Google Blogsearch, nor does our own blog search function.

  If you want all posts relating to a single subject to be displayed on one “page” then all you have to do is use the proper tag for them. Then, when someone clicks on that tag in your sidebar, that “page” will automatically generate itself.

  If you want more separation than that, you need more than one blog. Again, only one part of your blog, the main page, functions like a blog. Tag pages are subsets of that main page.
