updating PHP

  Dear Hosting Provider,

  I would like to ensure my hosting account is running
  PHP 7.2 or newer, and the latest version of WordPress.
  If I am not already on the latest version of PHP or WP,
  please let me know what steps I need to take
  to update.

  What site are you trying to get help for? WordPress.com hosting has an up to date version of PHP and always runs the latest version of WordPress, although a bit modified.

  If the site is not hosted at WordPress.com, please use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ or contact your hosting provider to ask this.
