Updating snapshots?

  How do you get the little snapspots to update? I recently revamped my .com website and those little snapshots show old pages and transitional pages. How very annoying! I like the feature, but if there is no way to update it, it will have to go.

  It’s RSS based, so presumably if the feed updates, so will the snapshots.

  So how do you get the feed to update?

  The other thing is that Snap works with caches and cookies.
  What you may see in a snap window at any given web page could be different then someone else (they may see the updated feed even though you do not)

  If you really want to see if the feed on a snap shot window is updated yet:

  Reload the page in question Without using the browsers stored content. (if your browser has this option)

  or:
  Clear your cookies and stored Internet Temp files completely

  Then look at the snap window… to see if the feed has updated

  Nifty thing we stumbled upon a few days ago regarding updating the images shown in the Snapshots preview:

  Hover over the link and when Snapshots appears, click on the “Options” icon:

  

  The options screen will open. Click on the green “Refresh” icon at the bottom. That adds the web page in the preview refresh queue. It won’t be an instant refresh, so bear with us and Snapshots for a few hours.
