Updating the site

The editor version looks very different from an outsider viewer. I’ve deleted all of the sample images and text, but some of it still appears on the public view of the site. How do I get them to be the same thing?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I have visited the homepage of your WordPress.com site and for me it does not currently show any images. You are referring to your blog page, and how each post shows a “featured image” that appears to use the demo imagery?

    Thanks for clarifying.

The text and images I’m concerned about are if you click on the “Blogs” tab. The images of women and text about periods is not mine. There should also be another page near the “Home” and Blogs” buttons called “About the Author” but that doesn’t show up at all. Hope this helps!

  • Hi!

The images of women and text about periods is not mine.

You can delete those posts by going here:

…hovering your mouse over whatever one you want to delete, and clicking “trash”.

There should also be another page near the “Home” and Blogs” buttons called “About the Author” but that doesn’t show up at all.

I’m seeing “About the Author” as a blog post. You’ll see it listed on the page I link to above. You probably intended to create it as a page, not a post.

I would encourage you to copy the “about” text into a page. Then it should show up in that area near the home/blog buttons.

Let us know if anything is unclear or you have any further questions.
