Updating Theme or Plugin Manually

    I have a theme that needs to be manually updated and cannot get it to work. I tried the Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades and that is also not working.

    Hi @westkenniqua, sorry to hear it. It sounds like your site may not be hosted here on our servers, though, as we take care of theme updates for our users.

    Can you post at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ with a few more details about what you’re updating, and what’s happening instead? The community for self-managed WordPress installations may be able to help you sort it out if you send enough details. If you’re getting an error, you can try searching for that too.

    And, you can also try contacting your theme support, or even just switching themes for now until this is resolved.
