Updating to Windows app 3.8

  I have updated from the Windows app 3.7 to 3.8 and now I am unable to access my blogs. 3.7 worked fine, but with 3.8 all I am able to do is create a new site. Sign in (I am already signed in…) goes to the browser and has no effect in the app. My Sites in the Window menu is greyed out. How can I go back to 3.7? Stupidly I have deleted the installation file.
