Updating Website

I was updating a wordpress site for a client and I backed it up, updated the wordpress version successfully, then I started to update the plugins and everything was fine until a seo yoast message appeared that a sitemap.xml file was preventing the homepage from being indexed…I was told to hit the fix it button which said it would delete that file and now there is an error message when you go to the website and I can’t login using the login the company gave us to use… I need to contact wordpress support somehow and logging into my wordpress and posting this message is about as far as I can get in wordpress at this time. This is the message I am getting when I go to the website or the /admin

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/29/8974629/html/wp-content/plugins/rps-image-gallery/rps-image-gallery.php on line 1815

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like you are using a self-hosted version of WordPress instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version that is supported here.

Read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

With that being said, I would try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required); rps-image-gallery is the likely culprit. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that doesn’t help or you have further questions, I would check the WordPress.org forums where you can search for solutions to your problem or start your own thread.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
