Updating WordPress site from PHP 7.0 to PHP 7.2

    Has anyone updated their site from PHP 7.0 to PHP 7.2 yet? We received a note from WordPress that PHP 7.0 has reached its end of life (EOL) and will have a scheduled automatic upgrade to PHP 7.2 on February 28, 2019. We have tested what the transition will look like and it is bad (with errors). Can anyone help with a smooth transition to the new PHP 7.2 or point us in the right direction to fix it?

    Updates usually refer to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. This forum is for WordPress.com hosted sites.
