Updating WordPress to 5.4.1

Hi there, I can’t update my WordPress site to 5.4.1, it just comes up with the below…
Downloading update from https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/wordpress-5.4.1-new-bundled.zip…
Unpacking the update…
The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php
Installation Failed
… how do I fix this?

Since on WordPress.com you do not need to update anything as we take care of this for you, I believe you are talking about a site hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
