Upgrade

  I pull up my profile, click ‘account settings,’ and then click ‘upgrade now’ and the computer just sits there …. doesn’t do a thing for 5 minutes, then I give up. Wha’ts up??

  Hi,

  I just went to my profile > Account Settings, and didn’t find an option to upgrade. The upgrade plans appear on https://wordpress.com/plans for me. Could you try this link and let me know if it works?

  First of all, thanks for responding. I clicked the URL on your post and a new page was created but nothing appeared….I waited quite a while. Then I copied the URL and put in IE and the same thing happened. There is a place in “settings” (under My Sites” that says “Buy a custom domain, map a domain you already own, or redirect this site” I click redirect and nothing happens. Don’t know what to do. I suppose I can create a new user and password, but I don’t want to do that.

  Sorry for the confusion earlier. I clicked on the redirect link for my blog, and it took me to a new page asking for a domain to be redirected to.

  For your site (linked to your profile), that link will be https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/datavid.wordpress.com

  If this page is blank for you, please add the modlook tag to this thread so that Staff can help you out.

  I clicked the link you sent me and got a page with only a header at the top. I typed “modlook” into the Tags field…hope that is right.

  I clicked on “domain” and it gave me a “plans” button. I hit that button and I finally got upgrade options. Thanks
