  Can not pay with card. Have mony on paypal, can not pay there either..

  Hi there,

  You’ll still need to have a card connected to your PayPal account, even if you have a positive balance in your account. This is a requirement on PayPal’s end for purchases that are recurring, like the upgrade plans on WordPress.com. There is no way to make a purchase without any card at all.
