  can i upgrade my free website which is in .wordpress.com to my
  favourite name of web …..thanks..in advance
  p.s i dont owe a domain im talking about wordpress itself personal plan

  Yes, you can have a custom domain like example.com for your WordPress.com blog.

  You just have to upgrade to any one of the paid WordPress.com plan(Personal, Premium or Business).
