    This is a joke! How am I meant to get any support when I can’t actually contact wordpress? I purchased an upgrade but cancelled 10 minutes later. I would like to find out why my cancelled purchase still was taken off my bank account. PayPal have said I have to contact you. Why do I have to write this into a public forum?

    I’ll be happy to help you out with this.

    The public forums are still staffed by Automattic employees (like me) and it is where free accounts can post for help. Once your upgrade was cancelled you were routed here.

    The purchases are deducted at the time of purchase, there isn’t a delay in place. It looks like you are needing help with the Premium renewal for £85.00, is that right?

    Because there’s been a dispute filed with PayPal I am unable to process that refund for you. Once you are able to cancel the payment dispute through them, I should be able to process it immediately. Sometimes folks have better luck contacting PayPal via phone for such issues.

    Let me know once they confirm the payment dispute is cancelled and I’ll check again to see if it processed. Then I can release the funds back to you.
