upgrade

hi I am interested in upgrading to allow me to link a domain I own to the site, but the plans all show with dollar signs not £ i think i must have a setting wrong somewhere.
I currently own http://www.jansears.com and in a month or so I should have http://www.jansears.co.uk and I want both of these to show my site.

You can definitely map a domain you already own to your WordPress.com site by purchasing an upgraded plan. https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
The default currency setting is $$$s but staff can change your account to show £££s. I have added modlook to ask a member of staff to assist you with this. -

Hi there! I’m interested in upgrading too – I want to preferably upgrade to the Personal plan for my domain mapping since its way cheaper.
Does it matter if I choose the Personal plan for that or did you upgrade to Premium as suggested?

The plan features are outlined side-by-side on this page: wordpress.com/pricing/ and that might be helpful for picking out the plan that suits your needs.
Domain mapping is included with the WordPress.com Personal Plan and you can add it to your account from the page linked above.
After you add the plan to the account you will want to click on My Sites > Domains > Add > Map it!
