  Hi, I recently requested some information in regard to my upgrade. I got a request for feedback but I never received the actual answer to my question.

  My original question was that I got an upgrade with the intention to have my domain name, but then it turns out that I can use my own that I already have. I am also using YOKO theme. Do I need an upgrade for that theme?
  If I do not need an upgrade for the theme, can I simply pay the $13 for the privilege to use my own domain?

  If I am not using any services of the upgrade, can I get a refund please?

  You can apply for a refund on the Upgrades page of your dashboard. And yes, you only need the $13 mapping upgrade if ALL you want is to attach a custom domain to your blog. Note that using a custom domain doesn’t give you anything else: no code exemptions, no allowance for ads, nothing else but a custom domain address.

  No it’s a free theme.

  Thanks for that. If I cancel the upgrade, am I going to loos the domain setting (it was not easy to set up), or do I have to purchase the mapping upgrade first and then cancel the upgrade? The issue is that the upgrade includes the mapping – I would hate to go through that all over again.

  I can refund the bundle less the cost of the domain (and, indeed, leave the domain and mapping intact on your site). If you can confirm you would like this, I will take care of it for you!

  You should see your refund in about 7 days, if not sooner.

  HI again. and sorry for this, but just realised that the background custom design function is part of the upgrade. I liked that. That means I must get the upgrade. Do I simply purchase the upgrade again?

  You can purchase just the Custom Design upgrade (which is $30 per year) instead of the full bundle. Go to your Dashboard > Store and you can select Custom Design upgrade.
