I am trying to upgrade from a FREE to PREMIUM plan but i do not live in the united states, so i got a friend who lives in the US to pay on my behalf.
I questions are;
1. How does he reach you on phone to get a better understanding of the payment
2. When the first payment expire, will you bill his account directly or get back to me ?

There is no telephone support at WordPress.com. It would be more straight-forward if you could pay for the upgrade yourself to prevent problems with future auto-renewals. WordPress.com supports card payments in many currencies. If $$$s are showing in your dashboard and you’d prefer to pay with a different currency then return to this thread saying which one you’d like to display in your account for staff to check if that currency is supported. Also, you’d need to add the word modlook to the tag box on the right to alert a member of staff to help you.

as themagicrobot said (thanks again!), WordPress.com supports payments from most countries around the world, in many currencies and payment methods. I would encourage you to try and pay for your own site yourself, since it allows for a clear indication of who the site belongs to.
That said, technically, you could also put your friends payment information on file, although we don’t recommend doing this for legal reasons as well as potential problems upon renewal. Generally speaking, you can turn off autorenewal after your first payment.
