    Hi szatz

WordPress don’t have any monthly payment system. All the plans and domain related subscriptions are paid annually.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Do you have to buy a separate plan with each website or can you upgrade once and have a few websites connected to the plan?

I’d like to run a few blogs and online stores on WP and I’m trying to figure out the costs. Each blog and store needs good SEO features so it’s critical to have access to SEO.

    Bests,
    G.

All WordPress.com plans are per-site only, so you’d need a plan for each site you wish to upgrade.

However, the SEO available on free sites is exactly the same as the SEO available on Business Plan sites. The Business Plan just gives you a little more control over some specific SEO settings, but I know of free sites that come up first for search terms relevant to that site, and Business Plan sites that don’t even appear on the second or third page, so please don’t make the mistake of assuming just being on the Business Plan means an automatic SEO boost.

Ultimately SEO comes down to your content – if the content is good, your site will have a good search ranking. If the content is poor, all the upgrades and SEO plugins in the world won’t make any difference.

    thanks a lot,
Business plan allows removing wordpress branding so I think it’s necessary anyway. Content of text descriptions and unique photoes are crucial I understand it. I was thinking of optymizing cost with more shops. Do I need to buy seperate plans for each site if I had external server?
    all the best,
    G.

  • Hi there,

Do I need to buy seperate plans for each site if I had external server?

If you plan on using your own server, then you don’t need to purchase a plan from us. You’ll need however to install and configure the open source WordPress software found at https://wordpress.org/

On WordPress.com we take care of the hosting and all the maintenance for your site. You can read more about the differences in hosting your site here and hosting it on your own server:

thanks a lot, I don’t know much about it so your info is very helpful and I couldn’t find the answers on google. Maybe because it’s so basic :-)

Thanks a lot, I’ll install wordpress on my server and play with it. Let’s see if I’m good enough to understand and learn. I’ll invest 6 days. Your advice is a starting point in my challange. Thanks again,

    All the best,

    Greg
