  If I start with Premium, may I upgrade to business at any time? Would I just pay for the difference of price between the two at the time that I upgrade?

  Yes, you can upgrade at anytime

  No, you can’t pay for the difference between the two at the time of uograde.

  You’ll pay the full amount of the business plan

  If you decide to upgrade plans while in the middle of having another plan, you’ll see an upgrade discount while checking out if you’re eligible:

  WordPress.com Plans [Redirects to Plans]

  Everything will be prorated base on the price difference between plans and the remaining months you have in your monthly subscription.
