  Why can’t I upgrade to premium and establish a domain name?
  I have been attempting to do this for several hours. The upgrade links do not work. I have tried on my laptop, desktop and phone. I am being routed to community support. I do not want community support. I want an answer from WordPress as to why I am not able to upgrade. I am excited about a new venture, and if I cant begin here I need to know so that I may find what I need elsewhere.

  most of the support is handled through the community –

  on your “new” venture – make sure you read all the terms of service

  for starters what is the WordPress.COM blog you want to buy the Upgrades for?

  You need a blog to buy an upgrade – no charge for the blog by the way
