  I want to upgrade my account and change my domain name. Can this be done?

  Correct account: Yes

  Hey there,

  This is totally possible – do you already have a domain you’d like to use with WordPress.com? If yes, this can either be connected to WordPress.com, or transferred completely.

  • https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/ (how to connect a domain – this is where the domain stays with the original registrar and DNS settings are changed to point to WordPress.com)
  • https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/ (how to transfer a domain, this is where the odmain registrar changes to WordPress.com)

  If you don’t already have a domain, one can be purchased with WordPress.com.
