Upgrade Billing Confusion
-
Yesterday I signed up for the premium upgrade and was offered a $10 discount off the $99 yearly total and informed that I’d be billed after the 14 day free trial period. Then today I was notified that the same site was due for its yearly billing of $26.
What I want to do is pay the $89 and be done with it, as it should cover the $26 features, but I can’t for the life of me find such an option. In ‘my upgrades’ I can checkout for the $99, but what happens to the $26 automatic renewal at that point?
It seems like I shouldn’t have to do anything, that I should get billed $89 and refunded any overages, but I’m uncertain this will actually happen. The whole thing is confusing. I would love to talk to a human, but I do appreciate any advice this forum can give me.
site in question is talesofterra.com
Thank you!

Hi danielchernoy,
I’ve stopped the $26 payment and bundled your domain name into your Premium plan. You are now free to purchase the premium plan (or wait for the auto purchase at the end of your trial period) Going forward, you won’t have to deal with this weird in between place.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Hello lizthefair,
Thank you for your help. However, despite your assurances I was charged the $26 yesterday. PLEASE help me reverse the charge and stop it from happening again. I don’t know where else to go for help.

Sorry about that. I’ve refunded the $26 and re-bundled your domain talesofterra.com into your premium plan. The problem occurred when you moved from the free trial into the full plan, so you won’t have to worry about this happening again next year.

Thanks! I will monitor the transactions… in the upcoming days and next year. I appreciate the help. I realize computers don’t always do what we want them to the first time.
