upgrade bundle and domain is not working

We just purchased the upgrade bundle and thought we set up “donachyblog.com.” Now our traffic has gone down to zero and when we type in the domain http://www.donachyblog.com, nothing comes up? Help, please.

5. To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. We purchased the upgrade several days ago. How long do I need to allow for the changes to propagate? Also, why is it when I type “donachyblog.com” on a search engine, I get no results?

donachyblog.com does not seem to be registered – I think you get some sort of chit the registration and the registration needs to be done in addition to the package

I went to the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/bundles/. It seems I have followed all the directions to get donachyblog.com registered. What do you think I missed? Help please.

Did you add a domain?

That is a separate operation but the cost is included in the price of the bundle.

When I go into settings from the dashboard, I clicked on domain. I pasted what the screen says below. Also, the radial dial is clicked to reflect that donachyblog.com is primary.

Looks like I might have skipped a step on you – you need to register your domain and that is where the hang up is – looks like the instructions I linked for you might not have been the best answer – the link below has a similar box but a bit different follow up

Ugh – everything I’ve read and looked at looks like the blog is registered. The other really strange thing is that my stats have dropped to zero and single digit days since I’ve purchased the bundle that includes starting the domain “donachyblog.com!” Help! Should I just cancel the services and go back to the original wordpress.com?
