Upgrade "cannot be cancelled"?

    I made an account less than 10 hours ago and even though I’ve followed the strict instructions on how to delete the account and get refunded my £15, I get redirected to page which says “your upgrade cannot be cancelled”. As far as I’m aware, I haven’t upgraded anything. How can I deactivate my account and get my money back?

    You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade.

    Know that if you cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it so if you want to keep it and use it on another site please let Staff know that.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel an upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     I can help you with cancelling unavitadolce.com and issuing a refund.

    So that we are on the same page, once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    I see that you were able to void out your payment, so you should either not be charged for the upgrade, or you will see a refund reflected on your bank statement in 7-10 business days.

    And why here says that auto renews on … january 2016 payment method paypal i want to delete paypal from the payment method. Can you help me with the deleting

    Darnelldibbles, please help me out with my website vitalees.com… I am trying to cancel and old domain that i no longer want (granjaswilliamospina.com) but every time I try to enter to my website from vitalees.com It appears a black layout and a sign that my old granjaswillamospina domain needs to be renew it, and i don’t want it. How can I get rid of it???

    Auto renewal under your account has been disabled, so you will not be charged automatically via Paypal. Any credit card details associated with your account while auto renew was enabled has been erased.
