"Upgrade cannot be cancelled"

I’ve been trying to cancel my domain renewal but I keep getting the error message “this upgrade cannot be cancelled”. I was able to cancel the private registration and see where 8.00 will be refunded back to me out of the 26.00 which was taken out of my account last night, but I can’t cancel the actual domain and get that “18. I understand once it’s gone, it’s gone and that’s exactly what I want. I’m tagging a moderator because I know they will have to do it. The domain name is thegreatcommissionofchristianity. Thank you!

Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain thegreatcommissionofchristianity.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using thegreatcommissionofchristianity.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.
Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.
